Identify
Use an official public Australian Government source and record its owning agency.

File type, DOCX package integrity and SHA-256 checksum.

Structure
Split by source chapter while preserving source section order and headings.

Normalise presentation
Apply documented presentation changes: removing Word artefacts, authoring links, marking Department-defined terms with links to their own glossary definitions, and restoring the source's icon-marked system, evidence and safety notes as styled notes.

Show source details
Publisher, version, dates, official URL and coverage limits.

ServiceCite covers only the public material named on each reference or program page. A searchable Guideline is not a complete provider operating framework.

ServiceCite is not an Australian Government website.
It is not legal advice or a substitute for the Deed.
It does not replace provider portal material.
It does not accept participant records or organisational SOPs.
It does not generate policy advice.

Search privacy

Search terms are sent in the request body to ServiceCite's Vercel-hosted search function to return matches. They are not placed in the URL, intentionally logged by ServiceCite or written to an application database. Vercel still processes standard request information under its privacy notice.

ServiceCite does not need participant information. Never enter names, CRNs, contact details, case notes, identity documents, health or disability information, employment evidence, credentials, or personal or confidential employer information.

The material is used under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, subject to the DEWR copyright exclusions. ServiceCite does not reuse department branding or source images.

The public Workforce Australia Services sample Deed has a document-specific reuse notice. ServiceCite records its official location, effective date and observed file checksum, but does not host, transform or search the Deed text. Providers must rely on their executed Deed, Work Orders and variations.

Program profiles are ServiceCite summaries. They name and link to official sources published by DSS, the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, the National Indigenous Australians Agency and the Department of Home Affairs. Profiles do not reproduce those programs' operating documents. A source-specific copyright notice takes precedence over an agency's general website terms.
